The systemic approach is legally recognized in Austria. It is therefore possible to receive partial reimbursements of between € 28 and €45 per unit from the ÖGK (Austrian Health Insurance Fund) or € 40.00 from the BVAEB and KFA in the case of mental illness or a pathological disorder. However, this only applies to individual therapy.

Agreed appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. If an appointment is not cancelled in time or not kept, the fee must be paid.

According to the Crime Victims Act (VOG), crime victims and survivors of crime victims are entitled to apply for reimbursement of costs for psychotherapy. More information at www.bundessozialamt.gv.at.
